How I Help You Achieve Relief & Fulfillment

No two individuals are alike, so my approach is flexible based on your needs. I use a trauma informed care approach, meaning we connect your present day symptoms to the experiences and memories where they started. The trauma perspective helps us to understand what happened to you, not what is "wrong" with you (even if you don't remember anything happening to you). This helps us get to the root of what's causing your discomfort, process it, and help you experience real relief for good.

I'm an EMDRIA Certified Therapist & Approved Consultant, so EMDR is my world. I am super passionate about EMDR Therapy as I have seen first hand how transformative the approach can be for clients, and in a much shorter time frame.
I have extensive experience incorporating ego state work, polyvagal theory and attachment and neurodevelopment into my EMDR practice. I love using this approach in my consulting work with other EMDR therapists as well, especially in the treatment of complex trauma and dissociative disorders.

Some of my approaches include:

-
Using humor and attunement, because we're all human and want to feel safe and connected before focusing on traumatic memories.

-
Combing polyvagal theory, ego state therapy, and attachment theory with EMDR to get a full picture of what's keeping you stuck. This helps us create the best treatment plan to overcome traumatic memories, panic attacks, and stressful life experiences that are preventing you from moving forward.

-
Using neurofeedback & other mindfulness strategies to help decrease anxiety, stress and dissociation.

Healing from trauma is not an easy process, but I'm here to walk next to you and support you through the process. If you're motivated and ready to do the work, give our office a call and let's get started!
